We have a baby!!
Well I realize I haven't posted since my last appt, and I apologize.. but things have been a whirlwind since then. I went to the OB on 7-12 for my 39 week checkup. I was 38w5d at my appt. Doc gave me the choice to induce that night, or wait until the 19th to see if I went on my own. Well.. I decided to go ahead and be induced that night.
So at 9pm on July 12th we arrived at L&D to get things started. At 9pm on July 13th things weren't progressing how they would like, so off we went for an un-expected c-section due to failure to progress. Since I had been in labor for 24 hours, and had only gone 2 or 3 cm in 12 hours, they figured we should go ahead and have a baby. Tristan Alexander Gentle was born at 9:35pm on July 13th, weighing 6lbs 14oz and was 19.5inches long. He was so beautiful, and of course still is :). I couldn't be happier. He and I are both doing well :D. Now he is 12 days old, and I can't believe it :).
I will post a seperate post with tons of pictures :D, but here is our first family photo.

Late, but 35wk belly pics
The last time I took belly pics was at 28.6 weeks, and so I took some more at 35wks5days. They are the most recent belly pics that I have atm. The info is of course in the pic, and hopefully I'll be taking some more very soon.. along with some pics of the nursery :). Enjoy. Some are bare belly of course. My belly button is fully out the majority of the time, depending on how my baby boy is laying. And the shirt says " This is all his fault" :D.
38 week update :)
Hey guys. I can't believe I haven't posted in 6 weeks. Oops.. bad Ashley :P. I'm sure this will be a long one as usual.. in my forgetful fashion to update more frequently hehe.
Well, things have been going good. All of my OB appts have been pretty standard up until now. At my 36wk appt I had my first internal exam done, and also was tested for Group B Strep. That all went ok, I was uncomfortable, but no pain :). I unfortunately was closed up tight :P. I had softened some, but no dilation or thinning. But! Tristan is head down, and in position. He just wasn't engaged yet. They wont check me again unless I have signs of labor. Oh and I started going to 1x a week appts after my 36wk visit. Now to update on yesterday.
Yesterday I had my 38wk appt, and today I am officially 38 weeks pregnant! Can you believe it?? Only 2 more weeks until my due date :). ::Squeel:: Well my appt went good. I had gained 3lbs since my 37wk appt, so that puts me at a total weight gain of 22lbs this pregnancy. My blood pressure was a bit high for once, so they had me lay on my side for a bit. Luckily it went back down to normal range. Tristan's heartbeat was nice and strong, in the 150's. My past few appts it has been in the 130's or 140's, but the 150's is still just fine :). He was super active, so it didn't suprise me. My fundus is measuring right on schedule, so they don't think I'm gonna have a huge baby.. yay lol.
And then the not so bad, but still not great news.. I am GBS+. No biggie, it's just a bacterial infection that doesn't really cause any harm to the mother. But if the baby gets it during delivery, it can cause some serious life-threatening illnesses. Luckily, if you receive antibiotics while in labor the baby only has a 1 in 4,000 chance of getting GBS. So, I'll take the meds please :D. I just have to make sure I tell them no penicillin, because I am allergic, and ask them to give an alternate antibiotic. No biggie.
My braxton hicks contractions have increased some, but not much. I've only had a handful of real practice contractions. I wish they would start coming all the time :P. But I do have a lot of pain/pressure the majority of the time. That is just because Tristan is so low and it seems as though he is finally engaged :). My next appt is on July 12th, and I will be 39 weeks that Wednesday. I think my OB will check me to see if there is any progress. If I haven't had him on my own by July 20th (the day before my due date) she may consider inducing me if my cervix is favorable (ie: dilated and effaced some). So we shall see what she decides to do then :).
I absolutely cannot wait to meet my baby boy :). After several months of feeling like this pregnancy hasn't been long enough, and after months and months of being in denial that I actually get a baby.. I'm totally ready and feel like it can't end soon enough :). It's so precious, because Paul wants him in his arms even more than I do :). Well, I think you guys are caught up now. I'm gonna post some belly pics that I took at 35wks for ya. Thanks for reading this long @ss post lol.

32 week appointment
Today I had my 32 week appt. I wont actually be 32 weeks until Wednesday, but still :P hehe. I am now going to appts every 2 weeks. So next I'll go at 34 then 36.. then I believe I start going once a week at 37 weeks.
The appt went well. I've gained 3 lbs since my 30w appt, so that puts me at 11 lbs total weight gain. My blood pressure was good too. A bit lower than usual, but still in the expected range. Tristan is doing good too! He/my fundus are measuring right on schedule. His HB was in the 130's, and he decided to stick an elbow or something up for the doctor to look at lol. It was funny.
My next appt is on Wed. June 9th. I will be 34 weeks on that day. Then my next appt after that will be sometime during my 36th week. I found out today that at the 36w appt I will have my first internal (cervical check) as well as my Group B Strep testing. Yay. lol.
I can't believe how close it is getting! In 5 weeks I will be full term.. so Tristan can come anywhere from a minimum of 5 weeks, to a max of 10 weeks!! So exciting. Thank you for reading :).

3/4 D Ultrasound
On May 7th I had my 3/4 D ultrasound. It was so much fun :). My mom was kind enough to buy it for me. Well. First off, Tristan is still a boy! yay.
Tristan had his back against my belly, and was being lazy. He didn't wanna roll over, but we were able to get some side of face and like 2/3 face shots. Here are some of my favorites.
