29 Week Belly Pics :)

I'm late posting... once again. But here are my 29 week belly pics. Some are bare. They were actually taken at 28 weeks 6 days, on May 4th. But who's bein technical? :P hehe I hope you enjoy them. They wouldn't upload beside each other like I can normally get my pics to.

Update and good news

So, I realize I haven't updated in a while. Oops lol.

I failed my 1 hour glucose test, and took my 3 hour test on 4-22. I just got my results.. and I passed!! Woot. No gestational diabetes for me!! :) I plan to bake a batch of brownies in celebration tonight.. I mean, what other way to celebrate? hehe. I'm sure the doc is going to ask me to keep an eye on my sugar levels though.

In other news, last Wed (4-21) I hit 27 weeks. So I am now officially in my 3rd trimester!! So exciting! I can't believe it. I will be 28 weeks on this Wed (4-28). So this means I have 12 weeks until my Est. Due Date, and JUST 9 weeks until I am full term. So at any point in time, after 9 weeks Tristan can come. I mean .. really? We are almost there already? It feels so unreal at this point.

We started our Childbirth and Parenting classes last Thursday (4-22) and it was so fun. We have them every Thursday night for 6 weeks. I can't wait for our next class this Thurs!! My next OB appt is on May 12th at 9am, and I will be 30 weeks. I also have my 4D ultrasound on May 7th :D yay!

Double Digits!

Today I am 25 weeks & 6 days pregnant, and it is a momentous occasion. Why you ask? Because now I am in the double digits! There are only 99 days until my due date, and it is so exciting for it to finally be under 100 :). I can't believe that I will meet our son somewhere in the next 3 months or so. It's amazing, exciting, and overwhelming all at once.

I'm a bit nervous though today. My next OB appt is tomorrow (4-14) and I have my glucose tolerance test tomorrow. I'm not excited about that at all!! I'm so afraid that I will find out I have gest. diabetes. Dunno why, just a strange hunch. I am however, very excited that I get to hear baby boy's heartbeat tomorrow.

24w update, 5 days late

Hey guys. I don't have much to blog about right now really. I hit 24 weeks last Wednesday, so I will be 25 weeks on the 7th. I am happy, because 24 weeks is viability. This means that if something were to happen and Tristan was born now, he would actually have a chance of survival. With extensive medical care, and months in the NICU of course. But it's good to know he would have a fighting chance. However, I had a talk with the lil guy. I told him he isn't allowed to come out until June 30th (37 weeks). He kicked after I said that, so I think we have an understanding ;) lol.

April is a busy month for us :). My mom's b-day was the 2nd, my sister's b-day is the 11th, on the 14th I have my 26 week check up at my OB.. as well as my 1 hour glucose test.. fun, I hit 27 weeks on the 21st and will officially move into my 3rd trimester that day, and our parenting/childbirthing classes start on the 22nd :). I'm so excited! I can't believe how close we are getting. Things just seem to fly by!

Some Fun News!

So I am very excited to announce that I am feeling kicks. Real, actual, obvious kicks! I had my very first obvious kick on Saturday March 6th while laying in bed. That same night I felt a kick on the outside, and so did Paul! He is so happy and proud to feel his son moving around in there. Though he can't always feel the kicks, and describes it as a light thump on his hand.

Well to me, on the inside, they feel like a pretty strong thump or a nudge. I've felt him almost daily since then. I usually feel him in the morning, after lunch, and around 10 pm or so. But definately multiple times a day.

And even more news: Last night I saw.. YES saw.. him move. I watched him kick me several times yesterday and today. My tummy kinda jumps and shakes when he kicks. It's so neat.

I will be 21 weeks pregnant tomorrow :). It's so very exciting to be 1/2 way done with this pregnancy. Mainly cuz I just want to meet him. My next appt is 3-17, St Patty's Day. And I can't wait to hear his heartbeat again.

We have tons of stuff for him already, and we are going to pick up his crib/changing table this weekend! I really don't need much else :P I'll hopefully be posting more belly pics soon, as well as pics of his nursery in progress.
